What is the Gospel of Grace and Peace?

In the Bible, the gospel is known as the gospel of peace (Romans 10:15) or the gospel of grace (Acts 20:24). The word “gospel” means “good news”. The good news is that God loves you and He wants to bless you in every area of your life.

God has reconciled everyone to Himself through Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation. (2 Corinthians 5:18) I believe that to be reconciled to God means to realise our wholeness and our unity and harmony with God and the universe.

God sees all of us innocent, blameless and above reproach in Christ. We are precious and beloved in His eyes. We can rest in His love and expect good things to happen in our life.

When we hear the good news of God’s unconditional love and our original identity in Christ, we will be set free from the bondage of legalism and religion that controls people through fear, guilt, shame and condemnation.

Salvation is not about going to heaven. Salvation is about experiencing wholeness here and now, not one day in the afterlife. It is about being saved from having a wrong mindset about God and about ourselves, to know and believe that God is love, and that we are all one with God and one with one another.
