The greatest gift for our heart

Someone said:

"The greatest gift you can give your self is a safe place for your heart to be and to heal.
Whatever that looks like to you.
A safe place where you can be fully you, where there is full unconditional love, and absolutely no judgement.
It's the greatest gift.
It truly is."

I agree it is the greatest gift as it enables us to live loved and function at our optimal level as a unique and authentic expression of our true self. It reminds me of the 2013 daily affirmations, in that we see ourselves in Peace, harmony, love and joy, and as we continue to connect with people of kindred spirit and place ourselves in conducive environments that nurture our spirit, we will keep growing, evolving and transforming from glory to glory. So, finding that safe place for our heart is to keep ourselves in such conducive environments. This is a timeless reminder for me as well.

A still small voice of love

Someone said: "Since God is love and if you want to change circumstances in your life, then be listening to still, small voices. And be a still small voice of love in someone else's life."

Yes, the still small voice within us is the voice of Divine Love/God who always builds us up and guides us from within by teaching us all things and bringing to our remembrance all things concerning our true identity/Self. When we are attuned to the living and loving voice of our spirit that reminds us we are beloved children of God, made in Love's image, we will do all things based on the truth of who we are, as an expression of Love and Light. 

As mentioned in the quote, I think by reminding someone else of their true identity and their oneness with Divine Love, we can be the still small voice in their life that resonates with them and affirms what they intuitively know in their heart.

Love is a unique language

I agree love is the greatest language of all, and I would add that love is a universal language that transcends borders, cultures and belief systems. Yes, love is God's way of communication and is communicated via the still, small voice of the heart that is attuned to the silence of the universe.

I also agree with Mick Mooney's quote that success is measured by how much love a person give away, instead of material possessions. Love is eternal, deep and true, and beyond the superficialities of the world. We are in the world (system) and not of the world, and I want to choose to live and be nourished and inspired/motivated by love alone.

Truth fears no questions

Yes truth fears no questions as truth is self-evident and is not threatened by our questioning. Truth can stand up to scrutiny on its own. It reminds me of a similar quote which goes something like "Unanswered questions are far less dangerous than unquestioned answers".

It is good then to live life with a free spirit of inquiry as we get to learn new things and new perspectives, and while we may not always be able to find satisfactory answers to every mystery, we can become better informed and gain a more well rounded knowledge and understanding about various subjects. If not for questioning, for example, we would probably remain in the dark ages of religion and live in fear of an "angry god in the sky". But with questioning and exploring, we discover many ways of looking at the Christian religion and realise it borrowed many different ideas from many different ancient traditions, and there goes the idea of an angry god out of the window. Instead, we realise the truth is not in a book and is in our heart.

The truth that sets us free fears no questions, and the truth of perfect love also casts out fear. There is no fear in love, just as there is no fear in truth. Truth and love goes hand in hand, and is always on our side.

I agree with the quote on meditation too. Meditation is indeed beneficial for our mind, intellect and soul as it stabilises and refreshes us from within. I am learning to live and breathe mindfully whenever I remember to.

The more we meditate on our true divine identity, the more we are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, from beauty to beauty, from one level of brilliance to another level of brilliance. Our beauty is enhanced, our strength and wisdom is restored, and our youth is renewed like the eagle's, much like what the quote above says. As we wait upon the Lord and behold the beauty of our true self, we shall mount up with wings and soar like eagles, we shall run and not be weary, we shall walk and not faint, and we shall dance the divine dance to the rhythm of love.

Nuggets of encouragement (Jan 2011)

We are all God's beloved children, in whom He is well pleased and delighted. We are all complete and fulfilled and blessed in Christ.

His mercies are new every morning. Enjoy the gift of the present. Don't regret the past or worry about the future.

Jesus' presence is always in the present. He is our I Am.

God's unmerited favour is found in the present.

Preaching to ourselves helps renew our mind too.

Jesus, hide us under the shadow of your wings, and keep us as the apple of your eye.

Jesus is our right place, right time. He is our favour, our restoration, our rest.

Jesus is the high priest of our confession. His hand of blessings always gives grace to us His people.

We receive abundance of grace to reign in life as we cast our cares on Him, for we gives grace to the humble.

We sought the Lord and He heard us and delivered us from all our fears. He speaks shalom to our situation and restores our soul.

Keep hearing the ram's horm proclaiming Jesus' work has been finished. (Jewish perspective)

Have a different spirit of faith. Take heed what and how we hear. We believe, therefore we speak.

Change the course of destiny for the better by speaking words of blessings.

His grace (unmerited favour) is sufficient for us; His strength is made perfect in weakness.

We are forgiven much, because Jesus (our true self) loves us much.

It is the goodness and kindness of God (our highest self) in His consuming fire of love that leads us to repentance (change of mind to believe the good news of grace and peace).

God gives grace to the humble who are casting all our cares on Him, for He cares for us.

Guard the finished work of Jesus because only His finished work works.

God wants us to eat from the tree of life and live by His unmerited favour.

Our happy God richly gives us ALL things to enjoy.

We are created for love. Greater love has no one than this, to lay down one's life for his friends.

Enjoy and rejoice in the Lord (our true identity) always.

With Jesus in the centre of our lives, everything remains whole and integrated.

Jesus is more than willing to bless and prosper and make us whole. Lord, your blessings be upon us as you will.

We can experience God's best every single day. He (our highest self) is God of more than enough!

God's grace and goodness is ever flowing bountifully and freely in our life, regardless of our performance.

What is desired of a man is kindness.

Enjoy heaven on earth on our way to heaven.

In Christ, we are healthy. We walk knowing we are healthy and whole.

We know our God is God of more than enough. We can experience His best every single day, every moment.

God (our cosmic consciousness) wants us blessed more than enough. Hallelujah.

Let not the Word sown in our heart be stolen or choked by cares of this life.

At all times, we will bless Him, His praise shall be in our mouth, our soul makes its boast in the Lord.
